The Valley Market No.2

What another great success the market was.

It was a semi-warm/cold Hobart day which did not deter people away.  All the stall holders put on fantastic displays of their wares and so very different to one another too.  I will do a quick "whip around" the room, as everyone deserves a mention.

We were first met by Sonia from Sunday's Child selling her all so professional looking and cute children's clothes range, Kassandra and her mum Wendy from ihaftu jewellery and accessories, what classy things they are!!  Then Sue and her funky mosaics, everything you could imagine had been mosaiced!  Then Mum and Myself selling groovy kids dresses and accessories, followed by Rachel selling her delicious apple tea and button delights.  Meg and her mum Louise from Nana Lou selling fresh flowers, books and softies, very homely.  Next the gals in the corner selling there clothes, Alena, Janelle and Hania.  I'm sure if you were at the market you would've tempted yourself with something from there!!!

I'll keep going while i'm on a roll!!  Next was Heather from Crum Cottage selling her colourful mosaics, suited to any garden, pavement which loves a touch of the quirky!  Rosie from Raspberry selling her ever so popular bibs and childrens clothes and accessories, gorgeous!  Then Peter, a favourite for all the budding gardeners out there selling his great hose stands and garden edges.  You had to be quick to get one of those!

Coming down the side of the hall we had Ali selling her scrabble/domino backed pendants, if you looked closely you would find some great images on those cute little things!  And then on the end, Erin and Jane with Sweepy, selling all things "kids" in funky materials and buttons.

Into the middle of the hall, we had Imogen and her much talked about trees, Kate and Claire with their very exquistly made, colourful hand crafts ranging from bags to brooches, birds to flowers, very pleasing to the eye.  Penny and her funky jewellery pieces, Lucy and her dogs, Ildiko and her birds and hairslides, very dainty, and Chrissy and little Izzie with their muffins.  (Izzie did so well to last the day at the market!!), Judith and her colourful collection of Jewellery, Charla and her herbs and honey, spreading a gorgeous aroma around the hall, yum!!!  and georgia with her yellow submarines and lotus flower seeds, making a lot of people very inquisitive!!

Last, but not least our gorgeous music filling the hall.  Thank you to Lynne who delighted us with her harp playing in the morning and for Janelle and Nick on vocals and guitar in the afternoon.  A great day, made even extra special if you grabbed a coffee from the girls in bean frenzy and maybe even a dumpling from frankie at the front door too!!

Thanks to all who participated and for all of you who came to support such talented local artists, and crafts people, much appreciated.  We look forward to seeing you at the next Valley Market.
